Hi

I am intending to teach in Ukraine or Russia after travelling there in last year. But my question is in regard to the best place to take the CELTA qualification.

I am currently in Adelaide, and the South Australian College of English runs a 4 week CELTA course in January. But I have also recently found that Kyiv English Language Centre runs a 6 week CELTA / TESOL course in Kyiv in February.

I was wondering if anybody has any previous experience with either of these.

And although Adelaide would be more convenient, would I be better to leave home and take the qualification in the counry / region that I intend to eventually teach?

I'm planning to do my CELTA and I was originally going to do it here in Aust, but it does seem more logical to do it in the country you plan to work in.
