Saw an ad for Taiba University, Madina. Does anybody have any information about the place? Seems to be a new outfit.

Do a search. There were threads about this. I am told that Medina is a very pleasant city. Alas, as a "Nasrani', I am excluded from visiting that place.
Does the Pope bar non-Christians from visiting the Vatican City ? |

Taibah University is not a new outfit. I don't exactly know how old it is, but it is at least a decade old I believe.

Taibah University used to be a branch of the university of king Abdul-Aziz in Jeddah. Now, it is independant from the old university, and it has its own administration and under the control of the Ministry of Higher Education. It is located in the city of Al-Madinah, which holds the second holly mosque of Islam and the grave of the prophet Mohamad (PBUH). |
