I always wondered what kind of person would take a job as an NHK fee collector.
NHK fee collector arrested for chopping up ex-wife's body
A fee collector for public broadcaster NHK who turned himself in to police, saying he had chopped up his former wife's body, was arrested Thursday along with a female roommate on suspicion of mutilating a corpse, police said.

And, yes, I am indicting the whole lot of NHK fee collectors. One of the few cases where I feel justified in generalizing. |

Whew, thank goodness I didn't let the NHK guy into the building last week! We have "autolock" with a camera thing that lets us see who is in the lobby.
If I don't know the person I usually don't even answer but I was expecting a package and the guy was holding something- it turned out to be a kind of electronic notebook.
I pretended not to understand any Japanese and asked him to come back when my husband was home, and gave a time when I knew both of us would be out.
Now I feel even more justified in doing that! |

Good job we are in a profession that has no history of psychopathic behaviour, eh?
I say this with complete confidence that no one can post a story to contradict me.
(Which means: post some stories of English teachers doing similar things please.) |

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I myself have found that student fingers taste pretty good coated with wasabi. |

Does this count?
I worked in a school in Greenwich for five years and one of the teachers was arrested, convicted and imprisoned for stalking. He used to break into his victims homes when they were out and try their clothes on.
Creepy!
There are some absolute headbangers doing this job, believe me!
