Are online degrees (legit ones of course) treated the same way as traditional degrees when trying to get a visa, and applying for an English teaching job in Japan? I've been trying to find the answer to this, but I was unlucky...
-Thanks! |

In general terms I would say yes.
Depends on the position sometimes, though. For entry level work, I'd say you would probably have no problems. |

I know they are. In fact, mine is treated as a normal degree. There's no mention anywhere that's its online and my requirements were exactly the same as the in person degrees from my university.
So, if it is a regionally accredited school, it shouldn't have any problems. I can't say about schools that are only Nationally accredited though. |
