I know a couple of you teachers out there have worked at call centers in BsAs...so I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction as far as how one goes about finding work in one. Also...can you recommend any specific places? How's the pay, schedule, general atmosphere? How big a deal is it to work under the table?

I appreciate your help!

I know of Apex America (canadian call center company). They are located in Rosario and Cordoba. I live in Rosario. Back in Nov. 2005 I went and spoke with them. The manager said you need a DNI (which I have). The pay was 900 pesos a month for a 30 hour work week (this was 2005). He further stated that as a native speaker one could quickly move up to supervisor or trainer. They have English lessons taught daily by fellow employees.

I didn't take the job...

I would call or email them and see if they would work with you in ref. to the DNI, but I am not sure how far you will get.

Steve

There is a company that is hiring sales people to sell a telecommunications service to the US. They pay really well, MUCH more than call centers, and its nice work atmosphere. if you are interested send your resume to [email protected]
