I'm trying to find an Arabic school to attend for a few weeks in Jordan, Syria or Lebanon. Do you know of any to recommend?
I found a couple on the internet but there doesn't seem to be much.
Any other suggestions as to ways I could spend a few weeks in one of those places to improve my Arabic? |

I presume you mean a school where you can learn Arabic...
I think AUB has an intensive Arabic programme that runs in the summer. Also IH Beirut (aka the American Lebanese Language Center in Sin El Fil) has some Arabic courses but I'm not sure of details. |

There are also schools in Damascus, Amman, (and Cairo.) You might want to check out this question on the Lonely Planet Thorntree site. This topic is discussed regularly over there and I recall reference to a website that someone had done summarizing the options. Hopefully their search mechanism will be up and running for you... or you could join and post the question again if you can't locate the info.
