Hi all,
Does anyone on this prestigious forum work for Borderlink?
I have done a search here and nothing comes up. They are a relatively new player in the alt depatching game. I am finishing up on JET and not sure if I want another ALT job again.
Cheers. |

They've had a few teething problems, what with this being their first year in many if not almost all of "their" cities, but they could prove to be better than most dispatchers: they apparently can help with accomodation, actually offer the legal minimum of accrued paid leave after you've worked with them for the required period (8 months?), and have an automated advance system (tied to regular submission of timesheets, maybe up to 40K/week?) that avoids having to personally beg for handouts; that being said, the workday seems longer than average (8:30-17:00), and the pay isn't exactly a king's ransom, pro-rated for the first month, paid a month in arrears etc. I don't quite know what the situation is with health insurance, or pay for vacation periods. |
