ECC says, "We will send you your contract and other important papers in the month of September." Its the end of the month and no word from them yet! For other people in ECC, do you generally get your paperwork from them on time, or is this end of the month thing common? In essence, do I have anything to worry about at the moment by not hearing from them as of yet? Any suggestions on what I should do, and when?

Never mind that I had my interview in July, was told I'd get my papers in September, and will be going to Japan between November and (most likely) Jan - March.

Be patient. That doesn't sound unusual. It is still September and it might take even longer.
Things take forever here, especially the paperwork. It took me 6 months to get a credit card.

Sage contact ECC directly.

There's a contact person in ECC Tokyo that handles contract/visa matters.
Her name is May Khizam and her e-mail is [email protected] or phone her at 03-5330-1585.

She'll be able to tell you what's up w/ your situation better than anyone else on this board can. ECC is a pretty straight up company so don't worry so much about getting jacked by them.

Thank you Speed, I'll do just that.

Ive heard nothing but good things about ECC, so I can't imagine that they would try to mislead me in any way.
