I am writing this here because I know a lot of people either live in or are going to school in Guadalajara. What are the things I should not miss if I am going to be living in Guadalajara for a month doing a certificate? I'd rather ask here than a tourism board because they always give you the stereotypical things to do like the cathedral and the zoo. Are there any great lesser known jewels in the city? What about weekend side trips? Any information would be cool. There aren't many things I won't do so feel free to leave any suggestions.
