I am a Masters student that is planning on relocating to Villahermosa after I graduate. Why Villa you may ask, well it is the most beautiful place in Mexico isn't it? Just kidding. I am a single mom and would like my child to be near his relatives, which are mostly there, or in the other lovely metropolis of Naranjos, Veracruz. Having been to both, I choose Villahermosa.
I will be down for about 2 months this summer and would like to talk to anyone that is in the area about teaching English. I will also be in San Cristobal for a few weeks in the beginning of August if anyone there has advice as well.
I'll buy the coffee |

If you can make it down to Comitan when you go to San Cristobal, try the Quiptic Cafe. It has excellent fresh coffee (cafe de olla) grown by Chiapan farmers. It's on the square in Comitan. I highly recommend the Hotel right across the square from it. I stayed there, the name slips my mind at the moment. |

I too recommend the Quiptic in Comitan...nice spot for coffee, though the food will leave you wanting. I stayed in a hotel called Eugenia not far from the Parque centro...fabulous spot with huele de noche growing all through the front courtyard. |
