|
|
I'm taking a TESOL course here in Australia and i am looking at heading to CR for my first teaching job. I have noticed that on all the job requirements that you must be a native north american speaker. Would i have a chance of getting a job with an Australian accent and no teaching experience???
I have plenty of business and health experience so would that help???
Cheers

Maybe about ten percent of places that hire teachers here will not consider you because you are not North American. Then again, you will probably be preferred at Instituto Britanico.
I have known several Australians who have taught here without much trouble finding work. Your business experience will also be an asset for teaching Business English. |
