Hey Everyone!
My name is Steve Perkins and I will be moving to Iwama in Ibaraki-ken Prefecture of May 4, 2004 to teach English. I am wondering if anyone on the board works/lives in Iwama or surrounding areas. I am axious about going but also very excited about meeting other people. If anyone has insight about the area I'll be working in or anything like that please post for me.
Also, as this is my first journey teaching English abroad in Japan; I was wondering if some of you could give insight into the things you wish you had have known before you arrived in Japan and what things are difficult to find in Japan that you wish you have have brought. Thank you for any help you can offer me in regards to this post!
