Hi does anyone have any recommendations of websites that are particularly suited for Spanish speakers?

Or any of you know people who have used some?

Wow...thanks naturegirl.

Just one thing...Are those sites for learning English or Spanish? I'm asking not for myself but on behalf of Spanish speakers wanting to learn English.

However...I am learning Spanish myself so those will definitely help!

Do you know any good websites for Spanish speakers learning English?

I believe you mentioned your husband is a Peruviano. Has he used any websites for Spanish speakers to learn English?

I am currently a big fan of this website:

www.agendaweb.org

It has a very well-organized and wide selection of links to free English exercises on the Internet. Some of those links are for websites for Spanish speakers learning English.

There are GAZZILIANS of webpages for learning English

Including some aimed specifically at Spanish speakers:
http://www.mansioningles.com/
http://www.angelfire.com/fl/espanglishtips/
http://www.parlo.com/index.asp?nav=es
http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/spanish/learn_english/default.stm OR http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/ (the BBC also has Spanish learning materials)

Just google "aprende ingles" to find tons more.

But there are so many great ones that are not L1 specific and just as useful--if not more so, here's just a taste:

http://www.lclark.edu/~krauss/toppicks/toppicks.html
http://www.esl-lab.com/
http://www.learnenglish.org.uk/

Check out this collection of links to keep yourself busy for the rest of your life!

http://iteslj.org/links/ESL/

Happy surfing!
