I just want to know what is the best way to set up a phone line and internet? Is doing the whole thing with NTT and their B-Frets better, or by going wth NTT for the phone and Yahoo BB for the internet? I actually have an existing account with Yahoo and am wondering if I just let them know my new address/number and they can hook me up to the net right away.
Any info will be greatfully received. Cheers. |

I thought Yahoo BB is owned by NTT. |

We have the cable package from JCN. It comprises 100 channels of TV, amazingly fast broadband internet connection and the landline telephone. We pay 7,000 yen a month and we are happy enough with it.
Just a suggestion. |

The way it works here is that you rent the line from NTT and the net access from a provider like Yahoo - if you go the ADSL route. If you go cable or fibre optic there are a lot of new companies to choose from (EO, Usen for example). It depends on the area you live in, sometimes you don't have a choice. |
