Why don't you write a short summary about living in Trujillo?

Sorry about not posting. Been out of Peru for about three months now and didn't really have anything to add. Looking at heading to Korea as I am broke and currently researching the board over there so I will try to check in when I can.

Looking forward to a Trujillo summary from Luna Chica to compare to my own experience and possibly naturegirl could discuss in greater detail the small coastal city of Piura.

Glad things are working out well for you tomteacher!

mmm, I live in MF now. Was in Surquillo, then San Borja, now MF. It's much quieter than where we were before, but too humid and damp. Mould on the sidewalk, doors, paper. You'd be surprised what can mould.

I lived in Villa Maria and San Juan de Miraflores, though maybe in the future when I come back I'd like to live in Surco if I can afford it.

Never heard of Villa Maria, just the school, SJM? What's that like? I've heard mixed things, and it's super far, right, where exactly is it located, near Surco?

San juan de Miraflores and Villa Maria are east of Surco, San juan borders Surco and Villa Maria borders San Juan.

San Juan is very dangerous at night. But theres a large and really good shopping district in it, in the southern part of San Juan there is a large residential area.

Villa Maria is a large poor residential district.
