anyone know much about the job situation in manado for someone with a couple of years exerience, celta, degree? are there many opportunities, what's the pay like, etc? anyone work there? what's the place like to live in?

There have been a couple of adverts over the past few years, but there doesn't seem to be much on offer.

One of the schools there wanted a foreign English teacher, but no fares offered and local salary only.

Good luck with your search, as the people are very nice there, and it's a first rate diving area.

Problem: only Indonesian airlines flying there as far as I know.
