Like justme I am in a state of ignorance at to these articles of fashion. What do you do with them ?

Can I live without them ? Until persuaded to the contrary I will continue to get by without these expensive (?) accoutrements.

I have reached the age of 60 without even seeing these. I will get by without them I think.

"Bootleg Crox" barrowmen were out on Istiklal months ago. Where have u been? They havent quite got into the jibbitz side of it yet...perhaps we should be thankful, given the election. Can u imagine AK Party shoe gems and the like? Anyway, Phoebe, what jibbit would you crave? Here's one I made earlier: its a dragonfly, u know...

In America the real ones were pricy, like 30 bucks. But the knockoffs at target were around 9.99...

How about in Turkey?

The originals are made somewhere in Europe, by the way. Probably why they are so expensive in the US....

I agree they are hideous... HOWEVER, I tried them on one day last week (at the insistance of my cousin who is a professional swimmer) and found them to be the most comfortable shoe I have ever tried on. I bought a pair for $35 Canadian. I am bringing them with me to Ankara, even though I might be ostracized from the "cool" crowds.
Everybody wears them here (in Toronto).

I googled our crocs again and it seems they are from boulder, colorado--- http://www.crocs.com/company/history/.

Maybe for some strange reason that goes against all economically sound production reasoning, they have them made in Europe instead of some sweatshop in SE Asia.

They look comfy, I must admit.

I found this in a Turkish google search, the response came up very rapidly so someone must have trodden (forgive thew pun) the path from here before.

http://shop.crocs.com/c-4-Footwear.aspx?reqid=4&reqProdTypeId=4&subsectionname=footwear

I must admit, they look very versatile and might suit my broad yabanci feet better than the narrow Turkish versions!
