|
|
Hey im in Venezuela and looking to go to costa rica shortly, i have been teaching for over 2 years in south america and looking to continue doing that in costa rica but i want to be near a beach or near somewhere that has good transport to beachs to surf and what not i heard that the pacific side is good - any recommendations for a good place to go? and schools to apply for?
also is anyone working in the tourism industry in costa rica or doing something else apart from teaching? it would be nice to take a break from teaching and possibly work outdoors where i would be able to see more of the surroundings.

Well for your sake I hope it rains a lot there. It was a desert when I went, couldn't believe how brown the surrounding area was. Good luck. |

Costa Rica is, as far as I know, one of the most expensive South American countries to live in. You can find work near a beach if you look, but you might have to wait a while for anything to show up. It's rain season now, so everything is green. :) |

I teach ESL because I'm generally clueless, not because I'm an economist. :) |
