When my teaching contract finishes next month I am returning to Canada. I am currently updating my resume to include my overseas teaching experience. I've been sitting here scratching my head trying articulate a job description. I'm sitting here staring at my computer saying, "what the heck can I write?" Good ole Dave's ESL Cafe to rescue! How have you described ESL teaching on a resume? Help a brother out!
Thanks. |

Give us a little background as to what you've been doing overseas. Ages, types of classes, etc... would help.
Always use action words when describing the work you've done. |

Check out the "Jobs Wanted" section to see what other people have written. I'm sure you'll get plenty of ideas from that. |

Kind of depends what kind of job you are going for. Research (er) sounds good sometimes. Planner (maybe a strech). If you did any after-class activities you could be a coordinator.
Good luck dude.
