It's possible, but not advisable - you'll only get bad jobs at dodgy schools, and short term stuff at that. Distance TEFL certs are not worth the paper they're scrawled on in crayon. do a proper CELTA or Trinity TESOL Cert.

Something about your question suggests you think this kind of cowboy antic succeeds especially in Turkey. Why settle for some scummy lowly TEFL post then, why not pose over here as a doctor or a businessman? In any case, why should someone with a "top-flight university BA" be having to scrabble around for a job in the underqualified TEFL scene in Turkey. RU on the run or something?
