My family and I will be relocating to Sharjah in about 2 weeks. We have 2 small children (a sixteen month old and a 5 week old). Does anyone have photos of the housing offered by HCT in Sharjah that they would be interested in sharing? From what I've read thus far, a 4 person family can expect a 3 bedroom apartment or villa, but I'm unsure of the validity of this. I am curious to know what kind of housing we'll be living in. Thanks to anyone that has information. |

Housing is varied and is spread throughout Sharjah. So no photos would be available unless the college provides them (highly doubtful). Most villas and flats are well maintained and comfortable - my first home was the size of a barn (literally)- if anything, you'll find your accomodation to be very large in comparison with anywhere else in the world. |

What kind of facilities do the apartment buildings generally have? Is it true there could by gyms and swimming pools?...Is that asking too much? |

I can't speak to the HCT housing in Sharjah, but certainly other HCT employees can and have ended up in a building w/ a rooftop pool and some sort of little gym. LIke VS says, though, it is probably a crap shoot w/ no promises from the university. |
