Just landed in town a few days ago and would love to hook up with the few foriegners who are in this smaller town called Chiali just outside Tainan.
I heard from one very helpful Filipino girl that she's seen four or five people she thinks are teachers, but she's not sure. I realize this is not a bee hive of activity for teachers but it does seem like a pretty laid back place and more than big enough to have some fun. So far I like it way more than Seoul. But time will tell.
Even if you are not living in Chiali (spelled Jiali), maybe you've heard from someone who knows someone who once knew someone who worked here and they heard of a good pub or nightclub or whatever?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated. |

You would probably be better off heading for Tainan when you have free time. There's a lot more to do there (western restaurants, amenities, people who speak English, etc.)
Go here:

to get more info about Tainan. |
