I used kayak.com recently and found pretty cheap tickets to Costa Rica in October. $258.
Of course, I select the return trip for two weeks afterwards since a one-way is more expensive.

Fly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

I just booked an AA round-trip flight via Miami from Orlando, Florida to SJ for $256.00 all taxes and fees included.

Really dirt cheap!

my wife was supposed to travel next month and we were expecting
around $800 for the flight.

Also, these flight prices are good until Dec 10.

Too bad all the sales are on flights that start in the USA.
