All these letters drive me crazy.  There is an old thread about them:

which came up from a google, but not much else. The only website that would open was in Arabic. More might come up if you use the search up at the top of the page.
Like most places using agents to hire for numerous branches, you may have little choice on whether you are in Muscat or the hinterlands.
