If a company gives you a housing allowance, how does it work in Riyadh? Is there housing you can pay for by the month, or are you expected to fork over 30,000 R upfront for a 1 year contract?

The norm is to pay six months a time. Some landlords ask for a year upfront and some will accept three months at a time.
