I have been contacted by the institution where I worked as a faculty member from 2001-2004 to help them fill an unexpected vacancy. The contract position would start in September. There is no cap on the number of times a contract can be renewed, based on mutual consent. Faculty have been offered tenure in the past.
The strong preference is for a Ph.D or Ph.D candidate with a proven record for quality teaching. An MA (TESOL, Applied Linguistics) candidate may be considered, but they would have to be of exceptional quality (i.e. considerable university teaching experience, a high quality research record, etc.)
Please PM me for further details.
