Do you teach Japanese students different to how you have taught other nationalities

I have found that, teaching in broadly similar educational settings, my ways of teaching have changed in many ways since I came to Japan. Does anyone else have the same experience?

I haven't had the chance to go back into multilingual classes in the UK with Japanese students in again since I came to Japan, but I also wonder whether people who have that experience find they can teach the Japanese students better than they could before coming to Japan and, conversely, whether it takes them a while to adjust to teaching other nationalities again.
