I read on a Japanese website
people are bearish on nova stock at the moment.
If the stock is a 69 now, how will the company be able to pay salaries? the value of the comany is in the stocks and assets so Nova has seen a large fall in its value. The recent press release has done nothing to stop the bears. Japanese staff did not have their summer bonuses paid.
Im worriying for my friends jobs what will they do if Nova has to close. |

Probably nothing. You are in Canada.
This is a forum dedicated to English teaching in Japan. Nova are the biggest private employers of English teachers in Japan. The goings on at Nova affects English teachers in Japan, the very demographic for whom this forum exists, more than the goings on at any other Japanese company. Nova are in financial difficulties and were late paying their Japanese and English speaking staff last month. There are also late paying their English staff today. Getting paid on time and, especially, getting paid full stop, is of intense interest to the English teachers of Nova, who make up the largest group of privately employed English teacher's in Japan, who are the target demographic for this forum.
I see that you are in Canada. This topic may have nothing to do with you. Just as you may have nothing to do with this forum. So why post? On this topic and on this forum? |

Actually I'm not in Canada
My point is that tigerwood is a troll-if you had followed his previous posts then you would know this. I don't believe tigerwood even has any friends working for NOVA-how could he? He's been in Thailand making bajillions of baht and living like a king. |
