Hi, I'm just a bit curious about Latin America generally. Any tips on good places to go? I heard Panama can be a good experience.

I'm also wondering, does anyone have an oppinion on Inlingua (specifically Ecuador). Is this a good company to pursue if I want to live and work in Quito, or elsewhere in Ecuador (or anywhere else for that matter)?

Latin America Rocks! Practically everywhere.

Inlingua, as a franchise operation, has a very varied reputation, depending on where.

In Quito, it's middle of the road. Not famous as a terrific place to work, but neither is it especially loathed.

There was a thread here about inlingua Quito ages ago...

Best,
justin

Thanks for responding so quickly,

I am wondering, given your knowledge, and experience, what would be a really great place to pursue in Latin America. I am pretty sure, I want to go somewhere in the region, but I am a newbie, and have no experience and little knowledge of it. Perhaps a really good place in Quito, or elsewhere?

...i'd agree with Justin...it's an OK school in Quito, but there are better. Key Languages, EF, etc....

Here's the link to the previous thread I mentioned:

It's a fairly mixed review, and I'll just let it stand as it is. What's for some isn't for everyone....

PS- A really GREAT place to work in Quito, in my completely biased opinion, is the Experiment in International Living.

Feel free to send a resume.

Best,

Justin

Justin,

I am wondering, what would be the best way to submit my application for the Experiment in International Living? I gather that you are the DOS there? Should I send it to you?

Thanks
