Of the natural wonders in Taiwan, which seems to be the most worth visiting? I've heard of beaches, mountains, lakes, and gorges. Is there any place colder than the rest of Taiwan? (probably not)

the north is noticably colder than the south. as are mountains vs. beaches.
yeah, beaches and mountains and everything in between are beautiful. just remember to keep an eye out for those "100 PACERS".

do a search on this...i think there was a good thread on "national parks" in taiwan not too long ago
