Hi Friends-
I just found a listing for professorships in the soon-to-be-created Academy for the Performing Arts in the newly-created University of Trinidad and Tobago. I've checked out the Ministry of Education web-site and several local and area news sources and it all seems to be on the up and up, fully-funded and with great intentions. Sounds like an interesting proposition.
Anyone here have any experiences with Trinidad and Tobago? Sounds like a nice place...
BTW, if this sounds like something you'd like to check out, here's the contact info: [email protected] or fax to: 1-868-643-1617
Thanks! |

Hi-
Try entering one of the following key words in the box at the top:
"Linguistics" "English" or "international".
Sometimes you have to sift through a lot of entries to find what you're looking for.
Also, there are several sub-sites at the Chronicle. Make sure you use Chronicle.com/jobs/100/100/
Best of luck!
P.S. If you're talking about the OTHER Chronicle site I listed, then start with the level you want [I use "Colleges and Universities"], then select "Humanities" then drop down to "English" or "Linguistics" |

Sorry! The sun is just coming up here and I mistakenly thought you were replying to my "next-to-last" posting.
I did indeed find the job I mentioned above on the first Chronicle site, but under "Theatre." Still, several ESL jobs are listed on the Chronicle site every week, around the world - usually I access them by using the key word "international" but occasionally by using the key words "Linguistics" and "English".
The site I gave on my first post on this thread was for the PARTICULAR job at Trinidad and Tobago, helping to establish a new Performing Arts presence. (BTW, I seem to remember reading that they are also establishing an English Language Institute, but I'm a bit foggy on that)
Sorry for the confusion! |
