Dinnertime chat, we were floating the idea of spending a year in Turkey, living and working. After checking out a few job listings online, I found that while it wasn't the most lucrative country to teach English, it looked doable as a couple.
My (Japanese) wife wants to see if she could also find a job teaching Japanese. Is there any demand for Japanese language courses in Turkey? |

That I can't answer. But you might start with an Internet search on japanese expats in turkey to get a sense of Japanese expat communities in Turkey. |

You might also want to get in touch with some language schools. A lot of them don't just only offer English but offer Spanish, German, and Russian as well. So, it's definitely possible, but do your research well before coming. |
