I'm Australian and wanted to know if getting to Santiago in early
September would still be good in terms of getting work for the term till December? I'll have a CELTA qualification. Also how long does it take to find accommodation and get settled. I only want to work for 3 months, but may well have worked in Cambodia for 6 months previous to arriving in Santiago, so I will have some teaching experience by then |

You'll have trouble getting work for such a short period of time unless you sign a longer contract and pull a runner.
Language schools usually hire year round, so you shouldn't have much trouble. Though you might be working under the table, give yourself about a week or two to get a job and housing. |
