Anyone have information about night Mandarin classes in Taipei? I found that Taipei Language Institute offers beginners classes from 7:30-9:20PM but nothing after that!!! |

The Chinese Education Center also offers night tutoring for 400 NT/hour, a cheaper rate than TLI.

I ended up waiting and registering for classes at Shi Da, so I can't vouch for the quality of their instruction, but the CEC employees I spoke with were extremely helpful and accommodating about my schedule. |

There are a lot of people who teach/tutor Chinese on the side. It's quite easy to find someone who is looking to make some extra money by teaching Chinese to foreigners. Many of these tutors also teach writing, along with conversation. |

Now that I know that I cannot teach in the morning, I will probably try to take Chinese three days a week in the morning and maybe do some privates at night. |
