I'm writing an essay on Second Language theories and whether they are useful to teachers.
I'd like to go directly to the source and ask EFL teachers:

1) Do you subscribe to one or a variety of Second Language Theories? Or, do you use general educational theories in your teaching? (e.g., Piaget, Vygotsky, etc.)
2) Which theory/theories do you use in second language teaching?
3) What is your teaching background? (e.g., approx. number of years teaching, number of years teaching efl, training in efl?)
