|
|
Hey.
I'm hoping to go to BA to work this November. I know it isn't the wisest time to go job hunting, but do you think it will be a big problem finding work? And over the summer period will there be summer schools, course or other ways of working available?
I'd appreciate any feedback from anyone who is out there or has been.
Cheers in advance,
Mark |

I'd post up a bunch of flyers for private lessons around the city--though I taught in Cordoba, so I don't know where the best places are to do so in BA. It'll be challenging to get a job at an institute, but it doesn't hurt to hand out your CV anyway...Plus, you're a native speaker, which goes a long way down there. Go git 'em. |

How about Summer 2007-2008? How is BA economy now? Are there better places in Argentina or Chile to find summer EFL jobs? How about a slow easy summer, teach part-time, learn Spanish, then get good EFL job fulltime in March? Maybe live outside BA in summer? Will summer exhaust my visitor visa, so I won't have enough days to hunt for work in March? |
