Hi all. Long time lurker, seldom poster

I want to have more memory added to my computer - a few people have told me to order the RAM off the internet and put it in myself, but I'm a little hesitant to do that because I'm afraid I'll screw up my laptop and be left computer-less. I don't really think I can afford to buy a new one this year, though. I get down to Tokyo about once every two months, does anyone knows of a place (English speaking would be preferable, my Japanese isn't that great) that would put the memory in for me? What are your recommendations?
