I want to teach english somewhere in Asia for 6 months before heading off to Japan. I would like to head off at the end of November and the pay must be reasonable. I have just completed a CELTA and have a 4 year University degree.
Any Suggestions???

Outside Japan, the places in Asia that offer good pay are the middle east, Taiwan, and South korea. Cut out the middle east if you are only in for 6 months. Both Taiwan and Korea are doable.

Both also have significant cultural differences, and you should read up carefully and choose even whether to do this instead of staying home. Six months of misery if you make teh wrong choice isn't worth any amount of money.

Can you get a job in Korea or Taiwan for 6 months??

I dont have any knowledge of taiwan. In Korea, it is not officially possible, but it is not unheard of for people to skip out after a few months. This is at least as much due to iresponsible employers as it is to irresponsible workers.

The company I work for in the middle east(Qatar) offers contracts for 3,4,6,10 and 12 months.
