While I was in China, several people actually asked about my hair: "Is it real?" Um, yes, as a matter of fact...
I'm not particularly tall. At least, not by Western standards.
MA=Master's degree--Master of Arts (for this field, in TESOL, English, Education, Linguistics, etc.)
Why, yes, I do like Chinese food--the vegetarian/vegan stuff, that is.

I thought that�s what it meant but the way it was mentioned in one post somewhere, it made me have to ask ta make sure.

Are there parks where your from..?
What does NET mean in some posts..?
Can you sing..?

NET=native English teacher (or something like that...)
Me, sing?!?!? I think not. Although I did end up singing in a pub in Ireland once, in my youth... Never again will I sing in public. Karaoke? Nope.

Oooh! While we're asking questions about acronyms (that I probably should already know the meaning of, but I'm simple). . . . What does ALT mean? I run accross it now and then, and I always think it means Alternative Lifestyle. But I'm sure that can't be right. |
