I'm leaving next week to teach at Kojen in Taipei, and I'm trying to figure out what to pack. I plan on teaching kids, mainly 7-12 year-olds. Is it OK to wear new corduroys and jeans, or are the female teachers more dressed up than that? What about sandals?

dress codes usually are dependent on the school....some schools require a "uniform" others are much more lax....you should ask your school what they consider "appropriate" teaching attire...
