My husband says that he read online (Yomiuri Shimbun) that the students belong to a Nagoya university "adventure circle" called the "Huckleberry Finn club". They were apparently writing their club's nickname on the sand to commemorate walking from Hyogo to Tottori. I've just seen the article myself.
Much less fun than the idea that they needed to check their spelling though... : |

I read a similar article. It reported that some of the group members did like the relationship between the two words. Either way, I loved 'Huckleberry Finn' when I was a kid, but apparently not as much as these people. |
