I know this is off-topic but figured it wouldn't hurt to post something here...

First of all I'd like to say thanks to all of you guys and gals here, Clark, MomCat, Miyazaki, SanChong, Mark, Forest1979, and all the rest of you kind people who have helped me and given me advice about Taiwan.

Seems I'll be in Taipei a bit earlier than I expected, in late November, so just about a couple months left til I arrive.

Just wanted to post a message here to find out who would be up for hanging out in Taipei, like at some bars and clubs.

I don't really know anyone there and I suppose it's easy to make Taiwanese friends there but it would be cool to hang out with some North Americans, Aussies, Brits, Europeans, etc. who are in Taipei.

As I mentioned, I'm into going out, lounge bars, pubs, clubs (though not as much as the previous two), billiards, bowling, coffee shops, etc.

Would be cool to meet some of you or talk to some of you who are into the nightlife scene in Taipei.

You guys can go ahead and send me a PM since this is off-topic, but in any case, it would be cool hanging out with people who are also into nightlife in Taipei.
