Hello ESL teachers in Thailand,
Ive been teaching in Mexico on and off for the past 15 months. Im fed up with the lack of respect and/or low wages that Ive experienced. Im ready to make the big leap over to Asia. I've never been there and only speak English and rather poor Spanish. However, I have a BA and a TEFL
certificate. Does anyone on this forum, like their job, living situation, etc. in Thailand? Thanks in advance for your responses! |

If you like palm trees, blue skies, beautiful food and hot hot hot girrrls then you love it here. It's just that there's no REAL money to be made here... but you'll get by just fine.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, Ive heard that Thailand is fun. Do you recommend the school that you work for? |

Why we've only just met sir.
Any government school should be interested in you if they're hiring. Try the jobs board at ajarn.com
Teachers with a degree and tefl are in high demand here at the mo. |

Thailand is a great vacation from anywhere. You won't make as much money as you will in South Korea or elswhere but you'll still save enough to do plenty on your free time here. The weather is warm and there's lots of distractions. Probably one of the reasons these boards are so dead all the time! |
