I'm leaving soon for Taiwan, and have a job lined up there. I can't show it with anyone I'm around in these last few hours, but I'm nervous as hell. Any last lines of encouragement?
Thanks!! |

You'll probably do fine here. Try to be an observer for the first little while and know what your priorities are. Expect to be annoyed as often as you're amused.
I'd invite you to coffee in a couple of weeks but I'm from the US .
Enjoy!

Don't forget your passport and a spare pair of pants. |

thousands, no- tens of thousands...maybe hundreds of thousands of folks have been in your shoes. what is there to worry about? 7-11's 'll be on every corner. you'll see moore KFC's thanyou ever did at home. virtually everybody under 25 in taiwan can help sort you out if you are lost. nothing to worry about, unless you enjoy having something to worry about. |
