Is 125 OR per month enough for a decent accomodation in Salalah?
How is the rent for a 2 bedroom apart, for eg.? Are gas, electricity etc. included in the rent?
Are aparts furnished or not generally?
Where are the good neighberhoods?

Hi Clifford,
There is a lot of stuff about rentals in Salalah on this forum. Unfurnished places (without AC) can be had for 90 - 120 OMR.
If you are MoHE direct contract you will be offered 1800 OMR " furnitire loan" This will go a long way to fitting out a 2 bed apartment with the basics. But be aware, this loan has to be paid out over the following months before the end of the 2008 Academic Year.
Aliskander can advise you about other neighbourhoods around Salalah as we are in residential complex and have almost all our own furniture.
