Hi, I heading to Osaka this friday and I want to get the train to Tokyo. Can someone tell me where it's located and how far it is from the airport?

you will need to go to Shin-Osaka station.
It takes about 35 minutes to go to Itami. You will take the monorail then change at Senri-Chuo.
look it up on jorudan to see the route from Itami to Shin-Osaka:

Are you flying to Itami or to Kansai airport? |

I'm heading to Kansai.
Is it possible to take a train from the airport deirectly to Shin-Osaka and from there take another train to Tokyo? |

yeah you can do that.
Take the Haruka to Shin-Osaka. Takes about 50-55 minutes.
You can take the shinkansen at Shin-Osaka. |
