 Is there more to Jakarta than Shopping Malls, Jaksa, or the usual Night Clubs?.
Are there any counter culture places in Jakarta?. I like Rock/Goth music, and have not found a place yet in Jakarta, that plays this music.
Are there any places out there? |

| Hi reality, yes spend a day or two here and you will think malls and mosques are all Jakarta has. There is a fairly big goth / rock scene here as a friend of mine is involved in it as a lead singer of a hard core band. Try down near the bus terminal in Blok M, there are heaps of music stores around there. Someone should point you in the right direction. |
