CIBT has numerous partnerships throughout China. They cater to young people with rich parents. I worked for CIBT in Beijing. Paid well. Lame students. I was almost fired after setting my writing class too much homework (one 250-300 word essay per week). I was actually told that I was not to give the students in the writing class any writing to do!

Let me guess, they wanted you to grab a guitar and crank out your classic hits. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Nah, actually the students just wanted me to stand in front of the class and talk for the whole lesson (3 hours!). I refused. As I've said before, most of my students think I'm a really terrible teacher. "You make us learn new words!" "You make us speak!" "You make us write in English!"

I wish I could be so optimistic!

At least yopu didn't need to tap dance and perform Michael Jackson styled dance steps while moon-walking.
