Hoping to find it by Nov. 1... I lose the company "temporary accommodation" by then but would be happy to move in somewhere asap!
I realize it's going to be expensive - hoping I can find something basic for around 200 OR or not much more. Al-Ghubrah or Bowsher would be ok, but I really prefer to be as close to Athaiba as possible.
If anyone reading this wants to consider a flat-share, I suspect I may come up with a 2-bedroom that's over my budget, so would consider that, or renting a room in a villa... location is the priority, everything else is flexible.
Or any tips about where to look in Muscat? Have hunted around the neighborhood but, predictably, everything is full. |

You will be VERY lucky to get something is Adhaibah for OR 200; the place is going up market and three bedroom flats are now going for between OR 500 and OR 600.
However, if you drive to the Ghallah roundabout, turn down towards the sea, and then explore the streets going off November 18th Street, you will see that quite a lot of property is available - FOR Rent signs are out on quite a lot of newly finished buildings.
All I can suggest is that you phone bthe numbers on the signs and start negotiating. |
