Hello,
I read on the Dave's Jobs about a working holiday visa in South Korea. Anyone know the procedure for this? Is there an age limit? I would be grateful to anyone with information as I would like this opportunity if posssible.
Sincerely,
June |

| Hi June---One thing about that visa is you cannot teach English with it. You can work but not as a teacher I dont know why. (Actually I do but it is a long story.) Dont let it worry you though as the chances of getting caught are quite slim. I met a young fellow from Vancouver who used this visa to enter Korea and was making more money than I was at the time. He had no degree. Also I think you can renew the thing within ROK. They are valid for 6 months which is pretty good. Hope that helps and needless to say you might want to post on the Job Related board for Korea although you will have to sign up again. Korea board is totally separate as we like to keep the riff-raff out. |
